Unit: Viruses, Bacteria, Archae, Protista, Fungi

In this final section of the BioLog we'll have lots of fun exploring the diversity of life!  Our interactive activities will focus on the criteria for taxonomic classification: prokaryote vs eukaryote, uni- vs. multicellular, sexual vs asexual reproduction, heterotroph vs autotroph, and special cellular structures.

Check out this simulation of an experiment with Yeast; in what condtions will it thrive?

This digital lab lets you test the effectiveness of different agents on bacteria suppression.
