Unit: Genetics

In this section we will explore how DNA codes for the traits of organisms by making proteins and replicating itself for cell division.  We'll compare mitosis - the division of body cells - to meiosis - the division of sex cells.  Finally, we'll model how genetic crosses pass traits down through generations.
